| November | ZK3: Tokelau (OC-048) TOKELAU 2026 ---> Members of the Perseverance DX Group (PDXG) and the West- ern Washington DX Club (WWDXC) are organizing a DXpedition to the Tokelau Islands (OC-048) [425DXN 1809]. 'Planning for this project continues', the team reports. 'On April 3, 2026 we had a meeting in Auckland, New Zealand with our Toke- lauan sponsor, additional project details were discussed. We will be on the atoll the last 2 weeks of November, 2026. The exact dates will be announced after the Tokelau Transport Office finalizes their November boat schedule. The operating location has been selected, and living accommodations for the team were discussed. Also discussed were the details of a humanitarian pro- ject we're planning for the local school. There are formal governmental meetings planned for November. We elected to be there after these meetings conclude. The meetings are part of an ongoing recognition of 100 Years of the Tokelau/New Zealand relationship. Team members will be in Northern California in May to conduct an equipment inventory and assess our requirements. We will return to California in July for equipment consolidation, testing and packaging. Subsequently, we will relocate our equipment storage to a location in Deming, New Mexico. While the team is funding this project without a major fundraising cam- paign, we appreciate donations to offset the equipment shipping expenses and the humanitarian project. Additional details will be announced as they de- velop'. Bookmark https://tok-dx.com/ for more information. [TNX K5GS]

| March 2027 | VP0SG: South Georgia Island (AN-007) VP0SG: SOUTH GEORGIA 2027 ---> The VP0SG team places great emphasis on men- torship and generational continuity in DX expeditions, in line with the val- ues promoted by leading amateur radio community organizations. Amateur Radio DXpeditions (ARD) is pleased to announce that Leon Hellmich, DL3ON, will be joining the March 2027 DXpedition to South Georgia as their second young op- erator, following the previous announcement of Violetta, KN2P. A third young operator will be announced soon, continuing this effort to support and de- velop future DX expeditions. 'On the regulatory front, we are pleased to report that our application to The Government of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands (GSGSSI) has been received positively, and the project is expected to enter the formal review phase in the coming weeks. Based on the constructive exchanges to date, we remain confident in the process. Logistically, the project continues to progress, and the first major mile- stone related to our expedition vessel, the MV 'Meredian', is fast approach- ing. As a privately funded expedition, VP0SG relies on the support of the amateur radio community. Therefore, we are actively seeking initial finan- cial contributions from clubs, foundations, and individual donors to meet future commitments and ensure the success of this exceptional activation'. See https://www.ardxpeditions.com/dxpeditions/vp0sg for more information or to support the DXpedition.
